SWA advised email marketing company Mad Mimi on its recent sale to GoDaddy.com, a privately held internet domain registrar and web hosting company. Mad Mimi is a New York-based email service that helps small businesses connect with customers through email marketing. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

The SWA team led by Louis Barr included Craig Tzvi Gherman, Meira Ferziger and William Galkin. GoDaddy was represented by Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.

“Everyone I know who uses SWA, swears by them. They are among the nicest and most brilliant attorneys I have ever worked with. During the more complex aspects of the transaction, they didn’t miss a beat and were very easy to work with. This deal would have been a different animal if not for them. Their ingenuity and connections made them far more valuable than their fees.   I have already recommended them to other start-up founders,” said Gary Levitt, CEO of Mad Mimi.
