SWA advises MobileSpaces on its sale to Pulse Secure for $100 million

SWA advised MobileSpaces, an Israeli cyber security company, on its acquisition by California-based Pulse Secure, valued at approximately $100 million.

MobileSpaces is developing a solution to help organizations protect confidential information kept on employees mobile devices.  It was acquired by Pulse Secure, a provider of network security, and this successful transaction gives Pulse Secure its first serious foothold in the mobile devices market. Prior to the acquisition, MobileSpaces had raised $12 million in venture capital, led by Accel Partners.

SWA advised on the U.S. tax, executive compensation, corporate and employment related matters of the deal and worked closely with Israeli law firm, Furth, Wilensky, Mizrachi, Knaani (FWMK).

The SWA team was led by Louis Barr, head of the Tax group, with support from Corporate partner Craig Tzvi Gherman, Meira Ferziger on Labor and Employment matters, William Galkin on IP matters and Devorah Pomerantz on Tax matters.
